Paréntesis amb signe: És un concepte poc habitual, i característic del nummòlt. S'ha de definir el signe dels parèntesis. Normalment són positius, però quan venen precedits per un signe menys, canvien tots els signes del que hi ha a dins. Exemple: -(5-10) nummòlt ens mostra el que hem escrit a la finestra d'edició -(5-10): Un parèntesi negatiu (finestra amb fons vermell, i vermell fosc perque hi ha operacions no resoltes dins) amb 5 fitxes positives dins, i una de 10 negativa. Per a resoldre la operació cal convertir el -10 en 10 fitxes de 1 negatives, fent doble clic sobre la fitxa de -10. Superposem les 5 fitxes positives sobre les 10 negatives, i obtenim 5 fitxes negatives. A la vegada, ja s'ha aclarit el fons, perque les operacions ja estàn resoltes. Però el fons és vermell, perque encara estem dins d'un parèntesi negatiu. Si fem doble clic en la finestra-parèntesi negatiu, es desfà el parèntesi. Les 5 fitxes negatives cauen sobre la següent finestra-parèntesi, però amb el signe canviat. Resultat: 5 positiu.	Parenthesis with sign:  Is an unusual concept characteristic of nummòlt. Ejemplo: -(5-10) nummòlt nos muestra lo que previamente se ha escrito en la ventana de edición  -(5-10): Un paréntesis negativo (ventana de fondo rojo, y rojo oscuro para explicar que contiene operaciones por resolver) con 5 fichas positivas en el interior, y una de 10 negativa. Para resolver la operación es necesario convertir el -10 en 10 fichas de 1 negativas, haciendo doble clic sobre la ficha de -10. Superponemos las 5 fichas positivas sobre las 10 negativas, y obtenemos 5 fichas negativas. En este momento, el fondo se ha aclarado, porque las operaciones interiores ya están resueltas. Pero el fondo es rojo, porque aún estamos dentro de un paréntesis negativo. Si hacemos doble clic en la ventana-paréntesis negativa, se deshace el paréntesis. Las 5 fichas negativas caen sobre la siguiente ventana-paréntesis, pero con el signo cambiado. Resultado: 5 positivo.
